National Housing Authority (NHA) General Manager Joeben Tai continuously inspects different housing project sites to personally monitor status of construction and ensure shelter production schedule. “Alinsunod sa ating programang Build Better More (BBM) Housing, akin pong sinisigurado sa inyo na ang mga pabahay na itatayo dito ay abot-kaya at dekalidad na may progresibong komunidad na maikukumpara sa mga pribadong pabahay. Amin din pong tiniyak na ang proyektong ito ay malapit sa mga pangunahing establisyimento gaya ng mga pamilihang bayan, pampublikong paaralan, ospital, simbahan at mga istasyon ng pulis.” NHA GM Tai said. On April 26, 2024, NHA GM Tai together with Assistant General Manager Alvin S. Feliciano, NCR North Sector Office Regional Manager Engr. Jovita G. Panopio and Rovin Feliciano of Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) inspected the Disiplina Village Arkong Bato in Valenzuela City– the same project wherein President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos, Jr. led the groundbreaking ceremony held last March 27, 2023. The in-city resettlement site Disiplina Village Arkong Bato in Brgy. Arkong Bato, Valenzuela City is designed to generate 20 low-rise buildings (LRBs) which shall generate a total of 960 housing units with 24 sqm. floor area including the loft area. This new Disiplina Village Arkong Bato project is intended to accommodate the informal settler families (ISFs) living along danger areas in the city who were affected by the Supreme Court Mandamus to Clean-Up the Manila Bay Area. In the same vein, NHA GM Tai also inspected Acacia Greenfield Homes in Brgy. Manacnac, Palayan City and Camp Magsaysay Place in Brgy Kalikid Sur, Cabanatuan City, both in Nueva Ecija on April 20, 2024. Region 3 Manager Minerva Y. Calantuan and Palayan City Mayor Vianne Cuevas joined NHA GM Tai as they checked the construction and development of each unit of the Acacia Greenfield Homes. The Acacia Greenfield Homes and Camp Magsaysay Place are implemented under the NHA’s Government Employees Housing Program (GEHP) which are intended for uniformed personnel and government employees. Furthermore, NHA GM Tai visited St. Ildephonsus Village Resettlement Project, Brgy. Anyatam, San Ildefonso, Bulacan to inspect the status of development and beneficiaries’ living conditions. Through the guidance of NHA GM Tai, the agency pursues and guarantees that relocation sites would be at par with private housing standards equipped with complete community facilities while maintaining its affordability. Meanwhile, under the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Housing Program (4PH), Filipino families can expect awarding of housing units in different parts of the country. As part of the Bagong Pilipinas brand of government and leadership of President Marcos, Jr., “Marami pa tayong ipatatayong bahay kaya inaasahan ko ang inyong patuloy na suporta at pagsusumikap,” he emphasized.
