Paskong Pinoy Poster Nov 9 Christmas is just around the corner. You can see Christmas decors everywhere, hear Christmas carols in the radio and you can feel the cold winter breeze once you walked out the door.    Though nothing compares to the Christmas in the Philippines where we have the longest celebration of Christmas Season that starts as early September till January. You can see almost every house have Christmas lights in their front yards. Even the smallest “Bahay Kubo” has a handmade parol hanging in their window.

A lot of Filipinos here in the Bay Area try to save up the whole year just to visit the Philippines and experience Christmas there. But as we know, not all of us can afford and do that. So JSCamins Productions thought  a way on  how to bring the Filipino Christmas tradition and spirit here in the Bay Area, and so Paskuhang Pinoy was born.

The first Paskuhang Pinoy was launch in Daly City at the parking lot of S.F. Moose Lodge on Dec of 2008.  The idea is to have a whole day of merry making to showcase how Christmas is being celebrated in the Philippines.   At the Paskuhang Pinoy, everyone will have the chance to see colorful Christmas lanterns or “Parols” in display. There will also be a Parol or lantern Competition (made up of recycle bottle of Datu Puti .

Audiences would also experience non-stop Live Entertainment from the best Fil-Am performers in the Bay Area singing Christmas songs. This year we will feature CECILE and MIGHTY the Fil-Am husband and wife Magicians.who will be doing Music and Magic.and the only Filipino who does Sword Swallowing in the United States.

There will also be a Christmas Bazaar, arts and crafts and commercial booths to brand and sell their products and services to the community. Sponsors will be giving away freebies throughout the day.   The Paskuhang Pinoy this year will be held at the Holly Community Center,31600 Alvarado Blvd.Union City,CA.94587.It will be an indoor and free admission event.  Some of the sponsors for the event are Obie Technology,,LBC, Datu Puti ,Philippine Airlines,, Island Pacific, BMV insurance Seafood City and Pixel Creations.
